Xiaomi Poco X5 5G Visits FCC and BIS Database Launching with Android 13 by default
After the Poco M5s' major settlement in the global market, rumors of a new POCO M4 Pro cousin have been doing the rounds on the internet. Reportedly, it is the successor to Poco's fan-favorite X4 Pro 5G, which is going by the X5 5G. A month ago, the phone appeared on multiple listings under two specific model numbers.
The leaked information also includes the battery stats of the new 5G Xiaomi mobile. The upcoming Poco model has a 4900mAh cell under the hood, which the brand will likely advertise as a rounded-off figure, 5000mAh. The FCC database also revealed the X5's working specs and wireless connectivity.
Among the wireless stats, the phone flaunts dual-band Wi-Fi and a 5G antenna rated for the n5, n7, n38, n41, n77, and n78 bands. The most notable stat on its FCC document is Android 13 x MIUI 14 support right out of the box. Also, there is nothing worth painting in lists.
For the past few weeks, the rumor mill has been slowly working to build the phone's manifest. Based on the leaked information, the X5 5G will sport a 120Hz IPS panel followed by a powerful Snapdragon 778G+ 5G chipset. No word yet on its price, launch timeline, storage options, or colorways. But the information is going to leak soon. So stay tuned.
